This conference is the work of the Association of Lisp Users.

A UK company, International Lisp Conference Ltd, has been set up to handle local arrangements.

The relationship between the two is defined thus.

The Association of Lisp Users

The ALU is an international organization whose mission is:

  1. To serve the software community by providing high-quality information about Lisp to current and prospective users and to the software community at large.

  2. To support the Lisp community by hosting an annual conference and providing administrative support for Lisp-related projects and local user groups.

The ALU is incorporated with "not for profit" status in Virginia, USA.

International Lisp Conference Ltd

International Lisp Conference Limited is UK company number 5686738, limited "by guarantee" (i.e. no shareholders, no profits), incorporated on 2006-01-25.

The company's objects are:

  1. To host international conferences relating to uses of the Lisp family of computer programming languages.

  2. To use the occasion of, and any profits resulting from, such conferences to provide: information about Lisp to current and prospective users and to the software community at large; and administrative support for Lisp-related projects and local user groups.

During March and April 2007 this charge will be £10; at any other time the charge will be waived. If the information we hold about you is wrong, we will correct it.
