The 2002 International Lisp Conference is Proud to Present the Over the past few years Bots have grown increasingly more
popular in our virtual realities. They are taking an active role both the web
and in challenging business settings. They stem from an area of artificial
intelligence know as natural language processing (NLP). They are sometimes
known as Chatterbots or as Web Agents. These software humanoids are oftentimes
subjected to various intelligence tests, most notable the Loebner Prize. This year however… We are pleased to announce the first annual ILC Chatterbot
Beauty Contest. Participants
will be judged not only on apparent intelligence but also on their artistic
abilities, their personalities, their sense of humor, their imagination… The bots
will be asked 8 questions from each of the following 4 categories: |
