See the final arrangements for ILC 2007, along with some further final arrangements and what must surely be the final final arrangements.

The advance registration deadline was March 11th. You can still register but (a) the price has gone up a little, (b) we can no longer accept bookings for college accommodation, and (c) there are no more spaces at the conference banquet.

Following the success of our last conference, the Association of Lisp Users is pleased to announce its next event. The venue will be Clare College in the historic centre of Cambridge, England. The conference will run from April 1st to 4th, 2007. Alongside our usual four day program of tutorials and prominent invited speakers and excellent technical sessions, this year there will also be workshops and demonstrations sessions. The conference will be rounded off with a quintessential English experience: traditional dinner served in the college's "Great Hall".

For visitors to Cambridge we've also arranged two tours - a short river and walking tour around the city the day before the conference starts, and a full day trip to the north of the city the day after it ends.

Cambridge is an unspoiled, old university town; some of its colleges (and their buildings) date back to the 14th century. It's the city that inspired Darwin, Newton, AA Milne, Wordsworth, John Cleese and Stephen Hawking. The city is set in low-lying country fifty miles north of London from which it has excellent access by train. Stansted airport is about 20 miles away and serves many European airports, often on low-cost airlines. Visitors from further afield will come in through Heathrow or Gatwick which are further away but still readily accessible by public transportation.
