INTERNATIONAL LISP CONFERENCE 2002 REGISTRATION FORM


The International Lisp Conference 2002 will be held in downtown San Francisco from October 27th through
October 31st. Sunday, October 27th will be a full day of tutorials, the remaining days will be dedicated
to presentations, competitions and demonstrations. If you register for the full 4-day conference package 
the additional tutorial day is entirely free.

In order to confirm and guarantee your registration, we need payment in the form of a credit card, 
check or money order. Checks and Money Orders should be made payable to ASSOCIATION OF LISP USERS.

Email registration is not available. Please Fax or Mail registration requests. You will receive 
written confirmation by mail.

TUTORIALS

Tutorials are FREE to anyone attending all four days of the conference. If you are not attending
all 4 days you can still attend the tutorials for the price of one conference day
($150 non-student / $25 student) which permits you to attend as many tutorials as you would like.
We will be offering eight 2-hour tutorials. These will be double-tracked, so you can effectively
attend at most four tutorials. These will be held on the Sunday October 26th, throughout the day. 
The actual schedule and instructors will be made available shortly.

Re:	Credit Card Billing for the ILC

Due to the lead times, bank requirements, and expense of setting up a merchant services
account with our bank, the Association of Lisp Users hasconcluded that we will not be
able to process credit cards for the upcoming International Lisp Conference. In 
exploring our options, we contacted our primary vendor sponsors, Franz, Inc. and 
Xanalys Inc., to discuss the possibility of having one of them process these payments.
Both graciously offered support. After discussion, we have decided to accept Franz’s
offer to assist us, primarily because they are local to the conference site and will 
be able to assist in processing walk-in registrations. 

We will be processing your credit card in the next few business days. If you do not 
want your credit card processed by Franz (for the ALU), please contact us immediately
and send a check or money order (drawn on a U.S. bank).
